Books, essays, and research

The shelf

Some questions begin in a relationship. Others begin with a drawing, a moment of faith, or the feeling that our picture of life has become too small. The same work is listed, piece by piece, in the writings.

Philosophy

How a person sees, receives, chooses, and helps shape what happens next. Begin with the drawings, or with the earlier books that gave rise to the framework.

Self

Subjectivity, agency, reflection, responsibility, habit, orientation, and the limits of self-knowledge.

Developing question. The Responsible “I”: an ongoing inquiry into how much authorship belongs to a subject already formed by body, history, desire, unconscious structure, society, and God. Not a page yet.

Other

Empathy, projection, boundaries, love, disagreement, and the irreducibility of another center of experience.

Fictional Poetry is the published book of early philosophy through creative dialogue: perspective, logic, growth, existence, and seeing beyond simple right-versus-wrong framing. It is on Amazon, not on this site.

God

Christian theology, comparative religion, grace, lordship, divine knowledge, and the relationship between creaturely representations and God.

System

More formal statements of the framework, its empirical programme, and explicit attempts to expose it to comparison and failure.

What follows when the philosophy becomes constructive: artificial agents, robotics, persistent institutions, decentralized value, and the creation of new systems capable of carrying a telos through time. These are not pages yet.

Artificial agency and telos. AGI and robotics through agency, embodiment, responsibility, purpose, alignment and created participation.

Value across time. How intention and resources might persist through autonomous allocation, decentralized institutions, and post-individual systems.

Creation after the creator. How intelligence should participate in creation when what we build can itself perceive, choose, act, allocate, and build.

Behind the writings

I’m Stuart.

I write and draw about how we see, choose, love, and take part in what happens next. These questions have grown through years of sketches and books, including The God Shape, The Moment, and the continuing Existential Matrix.

My faith in Jesus Christ is central to how I approach them. I want to understand what it means to submit to God’s will while remaining responsible for how I treat the people in front of me.

This is an evolving body of work. The drawings preserve where the questions began; the essays and books give them room to be examined, challenged, and developed.

Different labels indicate different kinds of work: published books, reader editions, working books, discussion pieces, formal research artifacts, and exploratory directions are intentionally not presented as identical kinds of claim.
